Apple Music is a subscription-based music streaming service available on iOS, macOS, Android, iTunes for Windows, and also Web Player. In this streaming platform, you can stream SB19’s music in lossless quality, download songs and play them offline.Our goal is to guide A'TIN and to help SB19 (group and solo) enter the Top Charts and the various music playlists curated by Apple Music. We believe that in doing so, we leverage the chance for them to be heard by a wider audience or casual listeners. We also aim to contribute to the streams counted towards the music charts, such as Billboard.

▪︎ To start streaming in Apple Music, you must subscribe to the streaming platform first. Apple Music does not provide free streaming service. However, a free trial subscription for 1 month is available for new users.

▪︎ To log in and subscribe to Apple Music, you must have an Apple ID. Click the button to create one.


Playlist Format


▪︎ Create a playlist with 2-3 songs in between an SB19-focused song, preferably another SB19 song and solo songs from Pablo, Felip, Josh Cullen and Justin.▪︎ You can also add SB19 music videos in your playlists (currently, WHAT? is the only available MV on Apple Music). Felip's MVs are also available to add in the playlist.▪︎ Start and end your playlist with an unrepeated filler song / a song that only appears once in your playlist.▪︎ Avoid adding songs found in #100-200 Top Songs Chart (under All Genre or any other specific genre).


SAMPLE FORMAT


▪︎ You may use the Collaborative Playlists feature in which you can invite collaborators to add, remove or re-order the songs.▪︎ Open your playlist and click the invite button.▪︎ Anyone with the playlist link can be a collaborator. You can turn on the 'Approve Collaborators' button to approve anyone who wants to join.


Stream Behavior


▪︎ Interact with the platform, stream like humans do.▪︎ Manual search SB19 + name of song. Do the same with Felip, Pablo, Josh Cullen and Justin.▪︎ Update your own playlist every now and then. Add, remove, or re-order the songs.▪︎ Use different playlists in a day.▪︎ Turn off Shuffle, Loop and Auto Play.

▪︎ Alternately stream SB19’s album, EP, and SB19 Essentials Playlist every after the playlist ends and before proceeding to the next one.▪︎ Volume must be 50% and above. Do not mute. Use earphones or any audio jack fitted on your device instead. Make sure the volume is still 50% and above.▪︎ Do not use VPN.▪︎ Pause and skip songs occasionally except on an SB19 song.▪︎ Use the queue feature “Play Next” or “Play Last” when adding a song to the current playlist you are streaming or when adding a playlist on queue for longer streaming.

▪︎ You may download your playlists to save data. Offline streams are counted once you connect your device to the Internet. Make sure to connect online within the day.▪︎ Do not stream on different devices using the same account even during offline streaming.▪︎ Add SB19, Felip, Pablo & Josh Cullen to Favorites by clicking the "Star" button on their Artist Profile. Do the same with other artists you listen to.

▪︎ Click the "Love" or "Like" button on the songs of SB19, Felip, Pablo & Josh Cullen. Do the same with other songs of other artists.

▪︎ Share the link of the song and your playlists on different social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Keep sharing SB19’s music.▪︎ You may stream in Stationhead by connecting your Apple Music account. This is applicable iOS devices and using the web browser in Android devices or PCs.▪︎ Don't forget to Shazam the songs.


Audio Quality


▪︎ You may set the audio quality on Mobile Data Streaming Settings to "High Efficiency" to save mobile data (a 3 minute song will approximately consume 1.5MB data).▪︎ You may set the audio quality on Download Settings to "High Quality" to save storage space.▪︎ If you want to enjoy Lossless quality audio, you may do so. (a 3 minute song will approximately consume 36MB of data and storage). We only recommend this for WiFi streaming and devices with large storage capacity who want to download lossless quality audio.


iTunes vs Apple Music


▪︎ iTunes is where you can purchase a song. Apple Music is a streaming service where you can play songs without having to buy it but needs subscription to the platform. They are different.▪︎If your device have both iTunes and Apple Music, and you purchased & downloaded a song from iTunes, make sure to delete it in your library to properly stream the song on Apple Music.▪︎Playing a purchased song from iTunes does not count as a stream on Apple Music. If there is a (+) sign on the track, that means you have successfully deleted the song.*This is applicable on users who have both iTunes & Apple Music on the same device.


Linking Tiktok to Apple Music


▪︎ Connect your Apple Music account. Log in to your Tiktok and Apple Music apps on the same device.▪︎ On Tiktok, go to your Profile > Settings and Privacy > Music > Save to music app. Click Apple Music and link your account.▪︎ When you see an offficialy linked SB19 song and their solos on Tiktok videos, click on the song the click the "+Apple Music" button. The song will be added to your "Tiktok Songs" playlists in your Apple Music library.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


What is the difference between iTunes and Apple Music? Are they the same?

No. iTunes is where you buy songs and it is not subscription-based. Whereas, Apple Music is a subscription service where you stream songs without purchasing it.Playing a song purchased from iTunes is not counted as a stream on Apple Music. Therefore, if you have both apps in your device, we advise that you delete your purchased song from iTunes in the Library so you can properly stream it on Apple Music.


Can I listen to Apple Music for free?

To listen to Apple Music, you must pay for premium subscription. A free trial for 1 month is offered for new users of Apple Music.GCash offers 2 months (new subscription users) or 1 month (subscribed users) free Apple Music subscription. Look for the Apple Services banner in the GCash App to claim or visit this site. Promo ends on August 24, 2024.


How do we know the stream count of a song?

Apple Music or any third party tracker does not provide data for the total number of streams of a song.However, you may check your personal activity via replay.music.apple.com which shows your Top Songs, Top Artists, and Top Albums. It provides the number of minutes you've been streaming but only those included in Top 5.For third party individual tracking of stream plays, you may download "snd.wave" app available on the Apple Store for iOS devices. While, you may use "Pano Scrobbler" for android devices which is available on Google Play Store.


Do offline stream counts?

Yes. Just make sure to connect your device to the internet within the day.


How is it that my playlist suddenly ends after a few songs were played?

This happens to android devices. We advise that the first song and the last song in your playlist are songs that appear only once in that playlist. Please check our guidelines for the playlist format.


When I stream playlists, why are the focused songs/repeated songs skip and not found in queue?

This usually happens to Apple devices. Check your iTunes downloads and delete the songs. Add the playlist in your library then refresh the Apple Music app.


Can I stream on Stationhead by connecting my Apple Music account?

Yes, you can connect your Apple Music on the Stationhead app on iOS devices, as well as on Stationhead via web browser.For android devices, connecting to Apple Music on the Stationhead app is not yet supported. However, you may use your mobile browser to connect your Apple Music on the Stationhead web version.


Does my stream in Stationhead count using my Apple Music account?

Yes, it actually does. However, streamed songs in SH does not appear in your Recent History or Recently Played. You make check the progress of your streams here replay.music.apple.com. Note that Apple Music Replay only updates weekly.


When I click the playlist link it only opens via web browser. How can I use the link that will directly open in Apple Music app.

This happens in android devices. Go to Settings > App Settings > Apple Music. Find the "Set as Default" and turn on "Open supported links".
